Professor Serhat Bor, the eminent gastroenterologist, has paid a wonderful tribute to Professor Peter Dettmar at a recent international gastroenterology conference in Turkey.
The Gastroenterology Surgery Congress, organised by the Turkish Gastroenterology Association, took place at the Susesi Hotel Congress Centre in Antalya on 16 to 21 November 2021.
It was a hybrid conference with international speakers gathering either virtually or in person to discuss the latest global developments in gastroenterology and gastroenterological surgery.
Professor Bor, a good friend of Peter’s, is a leading expert in gastroenterology and gastrointestinal motility based at Ege University’s School of Medicine in the Turkish city Izmir.
During his time on the Congress stage, he shared a wonderful talk highlighting his work with Peter.
