Imedex, Peptest’s exclusive distributor for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, has unveiled exciting plans to host its first ‘Peptest Day’ in April.
The knowledge-sharing event will take place in Prague on 20 April with Professor Peter Dettmar heading over from the UK to share scientific information and the latest research.
Peptest Day will take place at the Educational Center in the Military University Hospital.
Anna Zálišová, office manager at Imedex, says: “As Peptest is our fastest growing product, we are planning our first Peptest Day as an event for experienced users of Peptest, new users and potential users alike.”
“Our current users have different experience with Peptest and Peptest Day will give them the chance to meet and share their experience, opinions and hands-on training.”
Peptest is also set to make its Czech TV debut!
At the end of last year, Richard Uhlíř, Imedex’s product specialist for gastroenterology and ENT, filmed an appearance for health TV show DoktorKA (the Czech version of US television programme The Dr. Oz Show) on the topic of reflux and Peptest as an effective diagnostic device.
The show will be broadcast this March.
Peptest detects pepsin — the stomach enzyme that indicates reflux — in a saliva sample. Developed by the late Professor Peter Dettmar and used in over 40 countries, it is available directly to patients as well as NHS and private clinics.
